Did Liberals notice? For eight years the rest of us Americans were anything but happy, but never once did we burn down any buildings, or plan a secret coup to oust Obama.
As he used his Pen and Phone to induct what he called "Dreamers," into our social, medical, education and welfare programs, we shuddered at the nightmare he created, and at the Congress he ignored while making this decision.
When he secretly sent Planes, Trains and Automobiles to transport "Kids Without Parents from Mexico" to all of Obama's 57 states, we kept a zipped lip, even though we and the governors of those states all wondered, "What the ...?"
Heck, we believed him when he said he was the president of all of us. But to keep a secret like that??? That's cold.
Yet we believed him when he said, "You like your doctor? You can keep your doctor." But it wasn't true, although the thing he said about "liking pie?" That was true.
When he travelled to Cairo and Cuba and Argentina and far-flung countries, and told the world how unhappy he was at home, we said, "Gosh darn it, Barry. Washing your dirty laundry in public is bad enough, but to say you hate your Uncle Sam in foreign countries? That's going too far!"
But that didn't stop him. And still the rest of us didn't hold an all-white awards show, and make Obama the butt of cruel jokes. That would be racist. And politically incorrect. And never once did we flex our "White Privileged" muscles by killing cops.
We hung in while he made Senate recess appointments when the Senate broke for a brief bathroom break.
We wrung our hands when he couldn't be found anywhere during the attack in Benghazi. Some said maybe he was hungry and was in the kitchen making a baloney sandwich, but we have no objective sources to confirm nor deny that, and he never bothered to tell us.
We despaired at how creepy it was when he financed a bunch of "Green Companies" with taxpayer money, then had no comment when the money and the companies disappeared. Or when he told border agents to "stand down," and our military to "stand still until they shoot at you," with his new Rules of Engagement.
And when he admitted with a grin and a giggle that there undoubtedly was "some voter fraud," especially in his hometown of Chicago, he was as candid as Al Capone with a tommy gun. I guess that counts for something.
Americans with a racial guilt complex wanted a first black president, and didn't care where the guy came from, so they plucked Obama out of the ranks and the heck with the vetting. And we didn't complain.
They applauded his oratorical skills, even though we noticed he used a lot of words like "stuff" to describe some pretty important government "stuff," and didn't know how to pronounce "corps."
And the media enabled him. Candy Crowley loved and defended him against Mitt. MSNBC's Chris Matthews got a chill up his leg just thinking about Obama as president, and David Brooks knew he'd be a smash as president, he said, when he got a glimpse of the perfect crease in Obama's trousers.
We were never surprised at who Obama was. He never kept his past a secret. His father hated America. His mother hated America. And so did his granddad. Obama sat in church for 20 years and listened to the Rev. Jeremiah, who sounded like the Nation of Islam's Farrakhan, and who hated Jews, whites and America just like Farrakhan, while Obama insisted he never "inhaled."
He thought ISIS wasn't Islamic, and certainly not "terrorist," and to show his support for Islam, he and his White House bureaucrats referred to them as ISIL. We don't know why.
He was everything the Left wanted. Sure, there were times when he was too concerned with getting back to his golf game on Martha's Vineyard to give much attention to James Foley, the first American beheaded by ISIS. To be fair, he admitted afterwards, he should have "considered the optics."
Obama lived out the Dreams From His Father, and grandfather, both of whom despised the British and America, by banishing the bust of Churchill from the Oval Office, and then by transforming America into a Banana Republic, and I don't mean the trendy clothing store.
But never once did he ask the rest of us if it was what we wanted.
He didn't care. But when we saw, after the 2016 election, the Liberal media ignore and take for granted that it is acceptable for the ex-president to plan and plot what even North Korea's Kim Jong-un would call a coup? That's not okay.
To have a senior Secret Service Agent say she'd rather do jail time than take a bullet for our president? That's not okay.
And for the tree huggers in the Environmental Protection Agency to use secret tweets and e-mails to unseat our president; to circumvent "the system,", the way former EPA administrator Lisa Jackson did to do government business with the phony handle "Richard Windsor"" That's not okay, either.
So, after eight long years of Obama, we're calling out Liberals, and the pushback against President Trump. We're telling them and the bureaucratic weasels still supporting Obama by undermining Trump: We're not going to let you use a Shadow Government.
This is not a Banana Republic, friends. And besides, as Obama told Sen. McCain eight years ago, "We won," Barry.
Hold the line, America.
