Democrats like doing it. Giving awards. In 2008 Katie Couric was given the Walter Cronkite award for taking down Vice Presidential candidate Sarah Palin, like a good and loyal Democrat.
Award-winner Couric admitted she also omitted some comments from Justice Ginsburg in an interview with the iconic justice about kneeling during the national anthem, because, Couric said, she wanted "to protect" Ginsburg. What she really did was to make Justice Ginsburg more in line with what a liberal would say.
A lot of undeserving, frankly nasty people are routinely given awards by the Democrats. It's usually when the "awardees" mess up.
Hillary Clinton received a public service award on the same day whistleblowers were testifying about Benghazi.
And, if that wasn't hypocritical enough, Joe gave her an award for...could it be, for smashing and destroying Congressional subpoened documents that were in her Secretary of State emails and her computers? For creating and paying for the Russia hoax to destroy Trump?
And the other day, Hillary was given an award in the kind of company she likes to keep, George Soros, who also received the Presidential Medal of Freedeom award, which was accepted by his son, who is the man to whom Hillary's former chief of staff, Huma Abedin, is engaged. That's our Hillary!
Next Joe has revealed that he's going to pardon Liz Cheney because she didn't do anything wrong. Just like Joe and Hunter are innocent of anything at all. This can't end soon enough.
Hang tough.
