Just when you thought you had seen everything, hold on, wait a minute, something's not right here.
Liam Neesom and Glenn Close are two of the "celebrities" reading Trump indictments on MSNBC for MSNBC's "Prosecuting Donald Trump" podcast. Manhattan D.A. Bragg and Special Counsel Jack Smith get to weigh in, too.
There has been no objection by any of the "shining MSNBC stars", although there should have been, because the project was so stupid...And boring.
Instead Joy Reid, Rachel Maddow, Morning Joe and others spent their time venting their displeasure over NBC hiring of former RNC Chief Ronna Romney McDaniels. Emphasis on Romney.
And head honchos at NBC caved, turning tail and firing McDaniels before she had the chance to say a word. If they had waited. If they had the smarts, they would have realized Republicans dislike Ronna as much as the non-journalists at MSNBC.
Ronna was not only bad at her job, but her uncle is Mitt. Need I say more? She would have been perfect for NBC. She would be as reliable to trash Trump as Liz Cheney is.
But then again, suppose Ronna actually was able to have an opinion? Exercise her First Amendment rights? On NBC. No, Rachel Maddow is right. Getting rid of opposing views was a good call.
Hang tough.
