Kamala is johnny on the spot when it comes to her job, and when important breaking news breaks. She always is. As vice president.

Yesterday a reporter asked her reaction to news that a ceasefire agreement might have been reached. "Hamas says it accepted a cease-fire deal. Your reaction?" the reporter asked.

"Shrimp and grits," Harris shrugged, hurrying to get into her waiting vehicle.

Is it just us? Are we nervous Nellies worried about a World War, terrorism in our country, and getting killed by rioters in our streets? Why isn't Kamala worried?

Why isn't she eating her lunch with one hand, with the other holding her cell phone, with it glued to her ear, waiting for news of what's going on? After all, heaven help us, she is the second person in charge of it all!

Note to self: Despite her lack of interet in her job, her lunch sounded delicious.
