Pirates of the Caribbean made Johnny Depp a household word, but it was a funny, fun movie, not a suggestion.

And yet it is a fact of life that nothing is impossible in California.  Now Gov. Newsom has it all, homeless, hopeless, high crime and taxes. And pirates

The crime-encouraging state has made ordinary citizens a scared-to-death bunch, because of car-jackings, shoplifting, homicides and home invasions. The missing opportunity was the bounty to be found on yachts in San Francisco Bay.

And the solution? There is none. One victim, Jame Richards said, "The response we received from the police was that they could do nothing, and a warning not to approach the perpetrators if we located our boats."

It's no wonder Gavin Newsome wants to run for president. To get out of California. Arrgh!
