Former Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi's confirmation hearing for U.S. Attorney General was held today. She conducted herself beautifully, and managed to leave Democrat senators sputtering, and that's saying a lot when it comes to Senators. Mazie Hirono, Coons, and Durbin.
But she did. And she defended a one tier system of justice, something that has not been anywhere to be found during the Obama/Biden administrations. Not in any trials in which Donald Trump was a defendant, and espcially those involving former Mayor Rudy Giuliani.
Giuliani was sued for defamation by two Georgia election workers after the 2020 election, and was ordered to pay $148 million dollars in damages. Last Monday a federal judge held the former mayor in contempt for not turning over information about his assets.
Giuliani has had to give up his Manhattan apartment, his memorbilia, anything of value, and is trying to save his home in Florida, as he goes through bankrupticy. "They" even want his grandfather's pocket watch.
All of this because he dared to question the 2020 election. So I don't know about you, but I won't be sad to see Joe go, and take Attorney General Merrick Garland with him. Out the door.
They've destroyed good people, and happily their days of doing their dirty deeds are over, while their reputations will be ruined, just as they did to their political enemies.
Hang tough.
