There's no getting around it, we're in a class all our own. And not in a good way.
It doesn't matter how much you like your talk show hosts, they have no idea what your life is about. and they don't have to. Not really. But they don't have much in common with you.
They can commiserate with you about not getting the Covid vaccine, losing your job and your sanity. Not to mention your friends and family. But they all got the shot so they could go to work while you couldn't.
They don't uhderstand. They have bigger salaries, travel in the Hampton circles, and drive pricey cars. I applaud their success. They earned it, but they, like the politicians they critique, live in a bubble.
They're clueless about what it's like to be middle class and foot every bill that comes down the pike. Ukraine. Illegal immigrant housing, food, and health care. Gasoline. Free college tuition.
They don't know it's a stretch to buy baby formula at $42 a clip and diapers at $22.
Speaking of which, the talking heads that insist Trump should go to the Fox debate make me tired.
The reason he's not going is because Bret Baier is a ....how shall I say to be kind...fat head?
Why would Trump go and answer questions from a guy who hates him and called Arizona early? I wouldn't and I don't want The Donald to, either.
It would take 50 Bret Baiers to make one Donald Trump, and to be able to withstand indictments, impeachments and surrending to the courts. Let's see how many people tune in to hear Bret do his Trump-hating routine.
Hang tough.
