So why do you think there has been a landslide campaign for all over, everywhere you want it, deodorant? That lasts for 72 hours! Could it be that there are a bunch of stinkies? Like people who crossed the border? The homeless that live on our streets. Or is that racist and cruel to say?

Well, no, it isn't. Do you remember the Black Plague? And how it spread like wildfire? At that time in history, hygiene wasn't all that it ought to have been.

And remember a mention of rats? They may have gotten a bad rap as the means by which the disease spread. It might have been the lice on the rats. But potato, potatah, cleanliness wasn't valued too much then. Even doctors didn't think washing their hands was important.

Well, while New York City Mayor Eric Adams is on the indictment hot seat, he and city officials wring their hands about the outbreak of rats in their city. But they don't solve it. And they don't petition Joe to close the border so people from other countries don't threaten the health of our citizens.

Rats are no laughing matter. But neither are the politicians nowadays who don't know history. And now we're destined to repeat it.
