There are some people who are unhappy, America haters.
They serve in our government. They write books. Act in our movies. Teach in our schools. Always Virtue Signaling.
And now they’re calling the shots in our schools. It’s the reason you are hearing so much about school boards.
Who knew that school boards were so powerful?
Well, until Covid-19, no one did. Because of virtual learning in their homes, parents saw, for the first time, what their children were being taught.
And it wasn’t pretty. So, parents became involved.
Virginia mom, Stacy Langton, found pornographic books in her kids’ school library. When she confronted the school board, and read from the books that described man/boy sex, the horrified school board cut off her mike.
Texas mother, Kara Bell, complained at a board meeting about a book, Out of Darkness, which was available in middle school libraries, and depicted anal sex.
Before they cut off her mike.
There is a trend. Parents no longer are allowed to participate in the public school education of their children.
Until now that was okay. Parents believed teachers were there to teach the Three R’s. And they assumed someone read the books that were placed in school libraries.
But school boards don’t seem to read the books they approve, the way Congressmen don’t read the bills they pass.
Now school boards and superintendents are training teachers to promote ideas about what America isn’t, before students have had the chance to learn what America is.
It’s so confusing. It seems to be Critical Race Theory, but what is that?
American Federation of Teachers President Randi Weingarten tells us, don’t worry, be happy, teachers aren’t teaching it.
But she doesn’t say what it is.
In a nutshell, we found it is the promotion of society along racial lines, and includes the demonization of white people.
It is an effort to remake America, and to make it a nation of Victims and Oppressors.
If you’re white, guess which one you are.
Parents have come out against Critical Race Theory. They have said they do not want it taught in their schools.
But people like Terry McAuliffe, Virginia gubernatorial candidate, do not care what parents want.
“I don’t think parents should be telling schools what they should teach,” McAuliffe said last night during a debate with candidate Glenn Youngkin.
And in New Jersey, Superintendent Dr. Joan Mast has hired Fairleigh Dickinson Professor Khyati Joshi to teach teachers, who will then teach children, about critical race theory, while Mast denies that is what is being taught.
In her book, White Christian Privilege, Joshi cherry-picks U.S. history, in part focusing on slavery, the damage that has been done by white Christianity, and a great deal about the hurt feelings of misunderstood victims.
She objects to the U.S. motto, “In God We Trust,” although the U.S. is unashamedly a Judeo-Christian country, with a right to its nationalism, just as India is entitled to its motto, "Truth alone triumphs", from Hindu scripture as a largely Hindu nation.
Joshi says nothing about the U.S. being the only country in the world to eliminate slavery, while the country of Joshi’s birth, India, has the most slaves as of 2018, 18.4 million. Today.
And she ignores that Christianity, of which she is harshly critical for its white privilege, is one of the world's most persecuted religions.
Joshi’s research is biased and her message is a series of liberal talking points.
But that didn’t stop a school district from hiring her to instruct its teachers, for a fee of $30,000.
Hold the line America.
