“Believe nothing, no matter where you read it, or who has said it, even if I have said it, unless it agrees with your own reason, and your own common sense.” Buddha

Suppose your kid broke his leg. Would you wait a week or so and then not call the ambulance?
President Joe did something like that. In Afghanistan.
During this Administrative Debacle, Joe, and his secretary of state went on vacation. His vice president postponed a trip to stump for Gavin Newsom for a week, sheerly because of the “bad optics” it would have presented.
But, there was never any sense of urgency.
Doing the equivalent of a school cake sale, retired veterans and private citizens got together to come up with a plan to rescue Americans, mostly because the State Department and Chief of Staff Gen. Milley had lost interest, but later the State Department tried to take credit.
The veteran volunteers should have copywritten the plans, then sued the hell out of this Do-Nothing Secretary of State.
But this is typical of the Obama playbook.
Obama waited for a couple of weeks to send the FBI into Benghazi to “gather evidence.” And a month or so to take a look at the 2010 Gulf oil spill.
Then, like Joe, said he “took responsibility,” but the Buck Never Stopped with either of them.
Instead Joe and Democrats embraced the Rahm Emanuel “Theory of Never Letting a Serious Crisis Go To Waste.”
When Texas passed a pro-life bill, practicing Catholic Joe grabbed onto it, angrily promised he would make abortion tops on his priorities.
To protect women, but not the ones in Afghanistan.
When Hurricane Ida hit the northeast, he used the opportunity to blame it on Climate Change.
When asked about Afghanistan in real time, Joe either turned his back and walked away, said he didn’t wanna’ talk about it because it was a holiday weekend, or dragged out the old standby, Covid.
This week New York Sen. Schumer and Rep. Ocasio-Cortez couldn’t get to New York quick enough to politicize Hurricane Ida into a Climate Change tragedy.
No one took the bait. People said, “This is what is called a hurricane, Chuck,” and asked, “Why didn’t you and diBalsio clean out the sewers, Alex?”
Schumer and Ocasio-Cortez may be elected to represent New York, but voters know they never do anything of the sort. And that they never leave D.C., except when it is politically useful to them.
You will hear a lot of talk nowadays, from all quarters, but that’s all. Just talk.
Republicans don’t remember there is a thing called impeachment, although they lived through two of them with Trump.
Dr. Fauci continues to be incensed by those who don’t wear masks, yet ignores Obama’s Happy Birthday maskless bash, and Pelosi’s maskless fundraiser.
This week Fauci threatened college football fans for packing a Texas A& M game without masks, but maybe it was really because the fans were chanting “F***Joe Biden.”
This week Joe disingenuously visited Manville, N.J, and told flooded-out folks it wasn’t a hurricane that ruined their homes. It was "Climate Change.”
It didn’t go over well. “Go home!” the crowd shouted. “Resign!” and “My best friend died in Afghanistan, for what? For this guy to pull this s**t?” While Trump flags flew in the wind.
Yet all media continue to report Protect Joe News.
“The polls say Joe’s numbers are falling!” they bluster. “Will this hurt his chance to run again in 2024?”
When all they should be asking is, “Why isn’t Joe in a nursing home?”
Hold the line, America.
