If it were a fair fight. If it was a “No hitting below the belt” kind of fight, that would be fine.
But it’s not. It’s a Pile-On.
And it’s an especially egregious Pile-On when it’s aimed at a girl. A feisty woman from Georgia, newly elected Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene.
What kind of people do that? Well, Mitch McConnell for one.
Mitch is running scared, and can’t do enough to prove his allegiance to President Joe Biden’s Regime. That includes kicking a fellow Republican.
“We cannot have a president of the United States that is willing to abuse the power of the office of the presidency and be easily bought off by foreign governments…Chinese energy companies, Ukrainian energy companies.” That’s what Greene told Newsmax after her election, speaking about impeachment of President Joe.
And it sealed her fate.
Despite the fact that Impeachment is the main business of the Democrat Party, when Greene filed articles of impeachment against Joe Biden, Congressional Democrats and RINO’s went nuts.
Nancy wasn’t having any of that Freedom of Speech stuff. Just like she didn't like House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy exercising his First Amendment rights, calling for China-Spy-loving Rep. Eric Swalwell’s resignation.
She said it was “unfortunate” that McCarthy was “making it an issue.”
“He’s trying to deflect attention from the fact that he has Q-anon in his delegation over there,” she accused, referring to Rep. Greene, and observing that the House of Representatives have “an enemy within.”
McConnell couldn’t wait to pile on.
“Loony lies and conspiracy theories are cancer for the Republican Party and our country,” McConnell sputtered, referring to Rep. Greene. Then, in the same statement, he praised Rep. Liz Cheney’s peculiar support of the impeachment of Donald Trump.
What kind of people do these kinds of things? Attacking people who hold differing opinions.
Well, Antifa does, beating reporter Andy Ngo senseless as he monitored and reported on the group.
Ngo ended up with brain damage from the beating. But how is that possible? Last September President Biden said Antifa “is an idea, not an organization.” And House Judiciary Committee Chair Jerry Nadler called Antifa “a myth” when asked about the riots in Portland last June.
Deflection. Denial. Silencing opposing views. They are favorites of Pelosi. And the new Administration. In fact, it’s a method that has always been used to advantage by the Chinese Communist Party.
Now, with The Lincoln Project guys out of business because of the John Weaver abuse scandal, a new group is on deck. The Republican Accountability Project.
Its founders are longtime Never-Trumper Bill Kristol, strategist and founder of Republican Voters Against Trump Sarah Longwell, and Elizabeth Neumann, disgruntled former Trump secretary of counterterrorism at the Department of Homeland Security.
The Project's deal is to spend millions of dollars erecting billboards calling for the resignation of GOP lawmakers.
A typical message reads, complete with a huge photo of Sen. Cruz: “You lied about the election. The Capitol was attacked. Sen. Cruz: Resign.”
And it’s not just Greene, Cruz and Hawley in the crosshairs. Republican Representatives Elise Stefanik, Mo Brooks, Madison Cawthorn, Jim Jordan, Louie Gohmert, Devin Nunes, Kevin McCarthy and Matt Gaetz are targeted, too.
The Republican Accountability Project states its goals on its website.
“To work to hold Republican members of Congress, who have enabled or capitulated to Trump and Trumpism, accountable for their votes;
“To ensure that ample resources are available for those principled Republicans who do the right thing, and hold Trump accountable for inciting an attack on the U.S. Capitol;
“To back new candidates who would be principled Republicans if elected to office.”
Sounds scary. And remember. These people are Republicans.
Now some might say the current political scene looks like a “Junta,” the job and industry destruction by Executive Order. The harrassment and persecution of conservative Trump supporters. The takeover of the country's economy, judiciary and voting rights by billionaires.
And all those soldiers in D.C...
A Junta is defined as “a military or political group that rules a country after taking power by force.” It takes place after a coup d’etat, and can involve “exertion of concealed, behind-the-scenes control over a civilian puppet.”
But to draw that comparison is just silly.
Isn’t it?
Joe simply made promises, and then he kept them.
And you can’t say he didn’t tell voters, straight out, that the Promise he made was to do exactly what he’s doing.
Hold the line, America.
Where We Go One, We Go All
Stay strong, Patriots.
