“Fighting corruption is not just good governance. It's self-defense. It's patriotism.” Joe Biden

The Biden Administration and the Democrat-controlled-media are giving us the finger.
Corruption has a way of doing that to the poor, the unwashed. Like us.
Back in the 1860’s, Boss Tweed headed up Tammany Hall, the central organization of the Democrat Party in New York.
He was a crook of the highest order, using embezzlement, bribery and kickbacks to steal money from the New York budget.
Tweed and his cronies fleeced New Yorkers out of more than $200 million dollars, about seven billion in today’s dollars, by billing the city for work not done, or overbilling for work that was done. The work performed was substandard, and then would require repair.
By Tweed-controlled companies.
It was a long time before there was accountability, and when caught with their hands in the till, “The Tweed Ring” famously pointed fingers at each other.
Some things never change. And some do.
Boss Tweed and his cohorts were brought down by the investigative journalism of the New York Times, and Thomas Nast’s political cartoons appearing in Harper’s Weekly.
But today the New York Times and the mainstream media regard larceny and treason as doing business as usual, and “criminals” as a protected class.
This week President Joe carried on the legacy of Boss Tweed.
In a game of “Not It,” Joe and his uninterested, untalented and out-for-themselves team, point to the other guy when asked about not doing their jobs.
Yesterday Energy Secretary Jennifer Grasholm announced the release of 50 million barrels of oil from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve, as “a bridge to lower prices.”
We knew that wouldn’t do it, but she didn’t.
The “Reserve” oil was supposed to be just that. A reserve.
That’s why Trump purchased crude oil at rock bottom prices last year, to assist U.S. energy producers amid an oil price war between OPEC and Russia.
“We’re going to fill the strategic reserve right up to the top, saving the American taxpayer billions and billions of dollars, helping our oil industry,” Trump said.
“I’m curious if you know how many barrels of oil does the U.S. consume per day,” CBS reporter Ed O’Keefe asked Grasholm upon the announcement.
She didn’t know.
“I don’t have that figure in front of me,” she answered, probably distracted by her $5 million dollar holdings in Proterra, a company that makes electric buses, car batteries and charging stations.
And then she pointed her finger at U.S. oil companies and told them to do more drilling.
(P.S., The answer she didn’t have was: It’s18 million barrels a day. Relief for about three days.)
Mayor Pete chose the Scarlett O’Hara “I’ll Think About It Tomorrow” approach to the supply chain problem, smiling, then pointing his finger at Americans’ larger demands, not a shortage because of all those boats he is lettng sit out there in the harbor in California.
Joe pointed a finger at businesses for inflation, claiming gas stations were enjoying higher profits from higher prices.
And before Thanksgiving Day tomorrow, mainstream TV outlets are pointing at merrymakers, and urging them not to be so merry.
NBC advised “not to serve turkey.”
“If you tell everyone you’re having a Thanksgiving without turkey, some guests may drop off the list and that’s a way to cut costs, too,” an "expert" said.
A CBS report said making your guests Covid test in advance of Thanksgiving Day, would avoid them having to be turned away at your door.
And, if they didn't, a psychologist advised "serving hor d'oeuvres in the garage" while guests waited for rapid virus test results.
In Colorado, residents railed against an uptick in Covid outbreaks, blaming people coming in from out of state.
But they didn’t rail against Joe’s “Come on In, Don’t Bother to Covid Test” border policy as a swell source of Covid.
Because, as Kamala Harris said, pointing her finger at Donald Trump, “We can’t just flip a switch and make the border crisis better. We inherited an immigration system that is deeply broken.”
It’s just another example of Joe’s Tweed Ring.
Hold the line, America.
Let's go, Brandon!
Stay strong, Patriots.
Happy Thanksgiving, and God Bless America!
