“Bad news isn’t wine. It doesn’t get better with age.” Colin Powell

Instead of letting her off the Russian hook she’s on, Americans should ask WNBA’s Brittney Griner, “How do you like us now?”
“How do you like the country where you can pull your black, gay, female, basketball-player victim-privilege crap, and get away with it?
How do you like a country where you can say what you want because there is a First Amendment?
She didn't say. What she did say was, “I honestly feel we should not play the national anthem during our season.” That was back in 2020.
She was refusing to take the floor at her team’s game in protest of the police shooting of a black woman, Breonna Taylor.
“It will be all season long,” Griner said. “I’ll not be out there. I feel like more are going to probably do the same.”
She was full of piss and vinegar then, a stark contrast to now, gutlessly begging the U.S. to save her sorry hide from 9-1/2 years in a Russian prison.
What a difference a day makes.
Our country’s ego-centric elites are an ungrateful lot, insulted when they don’t get what they want. All they know is how to take.
Ignorant of history, and unwilling to learn about it, they don't say this is the only country in the world that has banned slavery, and doesn't throw gays off buildings.
Privileged brats that they are, all they know is Gimme, Gimme, something they learned from their Socialist leaders, like Nancy and Joe, people like LeBron and Gates, who go to China and Russia for some extra cash.
And don't give a damn about what it does to this country.
Griner and AOC say the $227,000 and $174,000 they earn, respectively, isn’t enough, and don’t know how ridiculous and selfish they appear.
And speaking of ridiculous, people see that Brittney Griner presents as a seriously scary dude, and an embarrassment as a representative of America. But dare not say so.
Griner and her “supporters,” wife, and coach still don't get what a privilege it is to be an American citizen. Always missing the point.
“She’s being persecuted because she is a gay, black woman,” they rage. It’s something that has always worked for them in the U.S. But this is Russia. And she committed a crime.
“She wouldn’t even be in Russia playing basketball if she and other women were fairly compensated in the U.S.,” they insist.
People know nobody watches women’s basketball. Of course you can’t say that. That would be, what? Racist. Misogynistic. Homophobic. Take your pick.
In a “I-Can’t-Believe-It-But-She-Is-A-Leftist” moment,” Griner actually groused that she was unable to call her wife on their anniversary, because there was no one at the State Department to connect the call.
Now, begging Joe and Kamala “not to forget” her, she never adds a word about the debt she owes her country. And 1,200 black women "leaders," didn't either.
In a letter to Joe and Kamala, these leaders in entertainment, media and sports, urged that Griner be returned “home,” “swiftly and safely.”
They said, “she deserves the very best our nation has to offer.”
But they never mentioned the greatness of this country, as compared to Russia or any country, nor did they urge the release of the Jan 6 Political Prisoners held in D.C.
That would have been nice.
In 2014 Barack Obama brought home the useless deserter, Bowe Bergdahl, in exchange for five Taliban terrorists, who returned to the field. Based on this criteria, Griner, who is equally as useless as Bergdahl, probably should be rescued.
Some things are complex, friends. Some aren’t.
Open U.S. pipelines. Enforce laws. Stop spending money you don’t have. Stop having dangerous sex, and, Stop taking drugs, including Chinese-Cartel fentanyl, and you’ll stop dying.
Life really is black and white.
And if you do these things, suddenly it will all go away. Inflation. Crime. Monkeypox.
Only the brilliance of Jefferson, Adams, Franklin, Hamilton, Jay and Madison could have created a nation such as ours.
And only the weakness and arrogant lack of intelligence of the likes of Joe Biden and Pete Buttigieg could create the country we have now.
It would be funny if it wasn’t so sad.
Hold the line, America.
Keep your eyes open.
Stay strong, Patriots.
