Make America Florida

“If you scare people enough, they will demand removal of freedom. This is the path to tyranny.” Elon Musk

There are lots of things that aren’t funny, and Jimmy Kimmel is one of them. Which is unfortunate, since he’s a comedian.

Lying down on the stage at the Emmys wasn’t funny.

Now Joe Biden? He’s funny.

This week Joe was interviewed on 60 Minutes.

“Mr. President,” CBS correspondent Scott Pelley said. “As you know, last Tuesday the annual inflation rate came in at 8.3 %. The stock market nosedived. People are shocked by their grocery bills. What can you do better and faster?”

First off, Joe said he wanted to “put it in perspective,” because inflation was “up just an inch, hardly at all.”

“No, I’m not saying it is good news,” Joe said. “But it was 8.2% before!  I mean, you’re making, make it sound like, all of a sudden, my God! It went to 8.3%.”

But it is the highest in 40 years, Pelley said.

“I got that,” Joe said. “But guess what we are? We’re in a position where for the last several months. It hasn’t spiked. It is just barely. It’s been basically even.”

Which means if Joe was a doctor, and you had a 105 degree fever that didn’t go up to 106, he’d be happy. That you were holding steady.

Which is unfortunate. That Joe is a president, not a doctor like his wife is.

There’s not much to laugh at these days. And the only reason we laugh at Joe’s antics is because Republicans won’t impeach him.

The good news is that the pandemic is over. Joe said so. He told Pelley.

He didn’t say if that meant those in the military, the National Guard, truckers, healthcare workers and countless others, would get their jobs back. The ones they lost because they wouldn’t get the vaccine.

Joe didn’t talk about that.

But folks on the Left were delighted that he didn’t rule out another presidential run in 2024.

And that he was worried. Very worried.
The source of his concern was a photograph of top-secret documents that were spread out all over the floor of Mar-a-Lago. The photo that his FBI leaked to the media.

Joe called Trump “totally irresponsible” for whatever he did, and said he pondered, “How could that possibly happen?...I thought: what data was in there that may compromise sources and methods.”

And, as the father of Hunter, and the Father of Open Borders, pondering about what would possibly compromise our country's security, was something he should certainly ponder.

So, we Stay Calm and Carry On, and laugh at Joe’s antics, because otherwise we’d cry.

Like the way he arrived late for Queen Elizabeth’s funeral, because he got caught in London traffic, while being driven in a private car, while other world leaders took the bus.

And we chuckle with tears in our eyes, as we see Joe and Democrats applying the philosophy of Bambi’s Thumper, who said in his little bunny way, “If you can’t say something nice, don’t say nothing at all.”

As the mid-terms draw near, Democrats have nothing to say about Joe’s time in office, because they wouldn’t be able to say anything nice.

Along that line, John “Hoody” Fetterman in Pennsylvania won’t debate with candidate Dr. Oz until October.

Gov. Katie Hobbs refuses to debate Kari Lake in the gubernatorial race in Arizona. Same goes for Sen. Mark Kelly in Arizona. And there are others.

This tactic probably won’t work. Everyone already knows what Joe has done to the country. People are living it every time they gas up their cars on the way to the grocery store.

So maybe instead of following Thumper’s advice to “say nothing at all,” they should follow Bambi’s mother’s advice.

“Bambi! Don’t look back! Keep running!”

Hold the line, America.
Make America Great Again
Stay strong, Patriots.
