When people get used to preferential treatment, equal treatment seems like discrimination.” Thomas Sowell

Rumors. There are always rumors. Some more reliable than others.
Rumor has it that Sen. Bob Menendez beat the rap on his first trial because someone got to one of the jurors. Result? A hung jury.
It was six years ago, and the chunky New Jersey U.S. senator had been indicted on bribery-fraud-conspiracy charges.
He was accused of helping out his pal, Florida eye doctor Dr. Salomon Melgen, by using his influence with respect to Medicare billing.
It also had something to do securing visas for the doctor’s girlfriends. I don’t know why, but it did.
Now here we go again. Leopards stand a better chance of changing their spots than Bob does.
Money, gold, a Mercedes, a no-show job for his wife, he took all of it. Apparently, Bob’s $174,000-dollar salary as a U.S. senator isn’t enough to make ends meet.
This time he’s accused of taking bribes from three New Jersey businessmen, Wael Hana, Jose Uribe and Fred Daibes.
This time Menendez and his wife are both indicted, on bribery, fraud and conspiracy charges. That’s in addition to charges that the senator provided “sensitive U.S. government information that secretly aided the government of Egypt.”
But Bob doesn’t think he’s a bad boy. He sees himself as a victim. Someone who is being targeted, because of racism. Because he’s the son of Cuban immigrants.
“Those behind this campaign simply cannot accept that a first generation Latin American, from humble beginnings, could rise to be a U.S. senator,” Menendez fumed in a public statement.
The “campaign” he referenced is “the law,” and the people who are indicting him are indicting him because he broke the law.
But nonetheless, Bob is indignant. He doesn’t believe he’s done anything wrong. Or at least that’s what he says.
Democrats never admit to anything, Democrats like Joe and Hunter and Hillary. And Bob.
None of them see anything wrong with selling influence for personal gain while in public office. And all of them can smell money and tragedy like beagles.
And now the Clintons are back.
Bill was Johnny on the Spot, heading to “help” Haiti with George Bush the Elder after the 2010 hurricane devasted the country.
No helpful assistance ever materialized, and Haiti was in as bad shape after Bill and George and the Clinton Foundation’s help as it was before.
All while billions of dollars of aid were never explained.
There were rumors that Clinton Foundation funds were used to pay for Chelsea Clinton’s wedding.
WikiLeaks published emails from Hillary's 2016 campaign in which John Podesta discussed the wedding and “resources” from the Foundation.
Bill was furious.
“No Clinton Foundation funds, dedicated to Haiti or otherwise, were used to pay for Chelsea’s wedding,” Bill tweeted before the 2016 election.
“It’s not only untrue, it’s a personal insult to me, to Hillary and to Chelsea and Marc.”
That sounds a lot like “I have not had sex with that woman.”
President Reagan said the nine most terrifying words in the English language are, “I’m from the government, and I’m here to help.”
Haitian activists think so, too.
In 2017, a group protested the mismanagement of Haiti relief funds, in front of the Clinton Foundation in New York City, on the seventh anniversary of the Haitian earthquake.
“The Clinton Foundation is a symbol of thieves and corruption,” shouted activist Dahoud Andre. “The Clintons stole money that was meant to help the people of Haiti and they belong in jail.”
He should know. He lives there.
Fast forward, Joe Biden has been a big cheerleader, encouraging the war in Ukraine to rage, and has spent billions of taxpayer money in support of the war effort.
Now Bill and Hill are waiting in the wings, eager to “help” clean up that devastation in Ukraine.
Just like they did in Haiti.
Hold the line, America.
Stay strong, Patriots.
