“A lie told once remains a lie, but a lie told a thousand times becomes the truth.” Joseph Goebbels, Nazi Propagandist

At the dawn of our country, there were people who could actually read, many in Greek and Latin.
George Washington was largely self-taught, educating himself through his collection of books, in subjects ranging from politics to agriculture.
At the age of 16, Benjamin Franklin wrote articles for the newspaper The New England Courant, under the pen name Silence Dogwood.
John Adams entered Harvard at age 15, and, it was said, had a love of books, and “was never seen without one.”
These people treasured books and used them to become better versions of themselves.
In his autobiography, Franklin said, “From a child, I was fond of reading, and all the little money that came into my hands was ever laid out in books.”
If only today’s kids were taught to read, they might grow up to be adults who read.
As Congressmen they would actually read the bills that would become laws, without, as Nancy Pelosi said, having “to pass the bill so that you can find out what is in it.”
That was Obamacare. It's a good thing no one read it. It would never have passed.
As members of the Left, opponents to the education bill passed in Florida would know that it prohibited gender identity, sexual orientation instruction in grades K-3, and was not a “Don’t Say Gay Bill.”
And if Chelsea Clinton ever cracked a book, or used Google, she would know that she was wrong.
Last month, Chelsea tweeted her support for LGBTQ+. Not that there’s anything wrong with that.
What was wrong was that she didn’t do research on what she was talking about.
“Over 50% of the attempted book bans last year involved books with LGBTQ+ characters & themes,” Chelsea stated.
“Books are a vital way that children, adolescents and adults learn about themselves and our world. Bans such as these are nothing but harmful.”
Clinton was quoting from an NBC news article by Matt Lavietes.
“As the nation’s culture wars rage on in classrooms and libraries, attempts to ban books have reached a record high, and titles with LGBTQ themes remain top targets,” the article claimed.
Lavietes is wrong, too.
The books are not being banned. They are being taken off school library shelves.
And one of the books shown in the article’s photo, “Gender Queer” is being singled out because it contains visual depictions of oral sex, masturbation and adult sexual contact with a minor.
Chelsea obviously didn’t read the book showcased in the article. But maybe she did. And approved.
The subject of unsuitable, pornographic books in school libraries is not a new topic, although it seems to be for Chelsea.
Parents have been vocal at school board meetings in opposition to these types of books being in schools for the past couple of years.
And the Department of Justice and the FBI have targeted these parents as “terrorists,” at the urging of the National School Boards Association.
If Chelsea Clinton had done her research, she would have known that. But she didn’t.
And neither, it seems did Kevin Bacon and wife, Kyra Sedgwick. Both of them as woke as Chelsea.
This week Kevin and Kyra took to Tik Tok to dance their support for Drag, wearing t-shrts that read “Drag is an art and drag is a right.”
Not that there’s anything wrong with that.
What was wrong was that they, like Chelsea, didn’t research what the real problem is: Drag Queens twerking in front of little kids. And showing them stuff located where the sun don't shine.
Videos of these performances are available. And the bumps and grinds shown aren’t about people who were misunderstood as to gender.
They are pornographic. You know it when you see it.
And so would Kyra, Kevin and Chelsea. If they had only taken the time to do the research and read about it.
As parents, you’d think they’d want to.
Hold the line, America.
You rock, Tucker.
Stay strong, Patriots
