Selfishness is not living as one wishes to live. It is asking others to live as one wishes to live.” Oscar Wilde

It wasn’t so very long ago, 2009 in fact, that Democrats were tickled pink when school children sang gospel-like songs, in praise of Barack Hussein Obama.
“Obama loves the little children,” is the way it went. “He said red, yellow, black or white. All are equal in his sight.”
Mmm, mmm, mmm. (That was the refrain.)
The songs were filled with campaign slogans and political statements about Obama’s accomplishments.
The school was in Burlington, New Jersey. And the song was a school project.
But yesterday when school children (ages K through 12) chanted “Let’s Go Brandon,” at a youth wrestling event in Independence, Missouri, the Missouri Democrat Party became huffy and puffy with indignation.
“Leading kids on a chant of ‘Let’s go, Brandon is the height of indoctrination,” they fumed.
Well, they should know.
Missouri Rep. Aaron McMullen shared the Twitter video, and it was a refreshing change for a change.
A change from, let’s say, the Hackensack Middle School in New Jersey which announced it will fly the “inclusive” LGBT pride flag year-round.
It held a flag-raising ceremony, hoisting the flag which features a triangular emblem symbolizing transgenderism.
Then the school announced, “Last week we celebrated pronoun pride by leading a button-making activity (with the Gay Straight Alliance club).
One button read, “My pronouns are they/them.” Another read, “Ask me about my pronouns.”
And to top it all off, the school’s library website advertised books that promoted leftist gender theory and Critical Race Theory.
So, it was about time that people on the right got a break.
Especially those who used to enjoy drinking Bud Lite.
Or those Catholics who have had their churches infiltrated by Director Christopher Wray’s FBI.
Allegedly.
Or those who are disgusted at French President Macron for travelling to Communist China to kiss up to Chinese President Xi.
This video did the trick. And this week conservatives got a few other breaks.
Macron was heckled at The Hague over his trip to China, and for suggesting Europe should separate from American foreign policy and the U.S. dollar.
And U.S. District Judge Mary Kay Vyskocil squelched New York D.A. Alvin Bragg’s request for a temporary restraining order in the Donald Trump case.
The order would have kept House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan (R-OH) from questioning Mark Pomerantz.
Pomerantz left private practice to become special assistant in the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office, specifically to indict Trump.
He resigned in 2022 when Bragg halted the case against Trump, then wrote a book, with all the inside details he knew about the case, People vs. Donald Trump: An Inside Account.
While using federal campaign law to indict Trump, Bragg objected to the Congressional subpoena.
"The subpoena to Mr. Pomerantz is an abuse of congressional process and a brazen incursion into New York’s exercise of its sovereign prosecutorial powers,” Bradd said in a memorandum.
It's clear Bragg is unfamiliar with the proverb, “Turnabout is fair play."
Or fair play. That could be because "fair play" so rarely happens today.
But this week it did and when it did, it was terrific! Let's go, Brandon!
Hold the line, America.
Stay strong, Patriots.
