You should never be friends with a person who thinks a severed head is an ordinary occurrence.
This week Osama bin Laden’s Letter from 2002 justifying the 9/11 attack was republished on TikTok.
Hamas/Palestinian supporters in the U.S. ate it up. Especially college students.
The New York Times reported that some TikTok users said, “They viewed the document as an awakening to America’s role in global affairs, and expressed their disappointment in the U.S.”
“The ‘kids’ don’t know any better,” kid apologists whined. But why don’t they?
They attend the best schools. They live in the best country in the world. And they certainly are not “kids.”
Ignorance would be a good bet.
Palestinian supporters in the U.S. have crawled out of the woodwork to riot in support of Hamas terrorists. Do they know anything about anything?
When U.S. forces liberated the concentrations camps in 1945, the 4th Armored Division and 89th Infantry entered the concentration camp at Ohrdruf, they saw what the Nazis did to annihilate Jews. All Jews.
Generals Dwight D. Eisenhower, George S. Patton and Omar N. Bradley visited that camp.
“The visual evidence and the verbal testimony of starvation, cruelty and bestiality were so overpowering as to leave me sick,” Eisenhower said in a cable to the Joint Chiefs of Staff.
“I made the visit deliberately,” he wrote, “in order to be in a position to give first-hand evidence of these things if ever, in the future, there develops a tendency to charge these allegations merely to ‘propaganda.’”
Well, here we go again, Ike.
The question that remains unanswered is “Why are Jews hated to begin with?
Why?
Former Police Commissioner Ray Kelly has been engaged in researching anti-Semitic hatred. Recently he was asked about the Why. He summed it up: “Jealousy.”
People who succeed, who land on their feet despite hardships thrown in their path, are resented.
In bid Laden’s letter, he is clear there is no room for Jews or anyone else in Islam.
He begins the letter by quoting the Quran.
"Permission to fight (against disbelievers) is given to those (believers) who are fought against, because they have been wronged and surely, Allah is Able to give them (believers) victory." [Quran 22:39]
”The creation of Israel is a crime which must be erased,” he continues. “Each and every person whose hands have become polluted in the contribution towards this crime must pay its price and pay for it heavily,” bid Laden wrote.
We are the disbelievers. Our price was 9/11.
“It is saddening to tell you (the U.S.) that you are the worst civilization witnessed by the history of mankind,” he writes.
He proclaims Sharia to be the only law, Islam the only true religion.
He refers to homosexuality as an immoral act, and makes the promise, “Do not await anything from us but Jihad, resistance and revenge.”
But somehow U.S. supporters missed that.
Ironically – or not -- Bid Laden’s letter is similar to Barack Obama’s 2009 address in Cairo.
“We meet at a time of tension between the U.S. and Muslims around the world. (The "tension" was after 3,000 Americans were killed on 9/ll.)
“More recently tension has been fed by colonialism that denied rights andopportunities to many Muslims, and a Cold War in which Muslim majority countries were too often treated as proxies without regard to their own aspirations.”
“Throughout history, Islam has demonstrated through words and deeds the possibilities of religious tolerance and racial equality.”
“America’s strong bonds to Israel are well known,” Obama said, but added, “Let there be no doubt: the situation for the Palestinian people is intolerable. America will not turn our backs on the legitimate Palestinian aspiration for dignity, opportunity and a state of their own.”
He reiterated the same position earlier this month when he called for “an end to occupation” by Israel.
And, in his Cairo address, he also quoted the Quran, “As the Holy Quran tells us, ‘Be conscious of God and speak always the truth.”
To which we say, “If you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor.”
Hold the line, America.
