Let’s just say Joe doesn’t win in the 2024 Election. How in God’s name will this man support his family? Provide for his boy, Hunter?
Well, this week the Federal Aviation Administration presented a Hail Mary for Joe. Hunter, too, I suspect.
The FAA, the government agency that oversees airline safety, announced that it is actively recruiting workers who “suffer severe intellectual disabilities, psychiatric problems and other mental and physical conditions,” as part of their Diversity and Inclusion hiring policy.
The disabilities actively sought among potential employees include “hearing, vision, missing extremities, partial paralysis, complete paralysis, epilepsy, severe intellectual disability, psychiatric disability and dwarfism.”
This could prove to be a good future job opportunity for Joe, but may not be such a good thing for anyone Flying the Friendly Skies.
The announcement came after a door fell off an Alaska Airlines plane in mid-flight this month.
An accident which apparently indicated to the FAA that what the airline industry needed most, was the addition of people who were suffering from tremendous physical and mental challenges.
It’s no real surprise that the FAA falls under the direction of Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg. So, does the National Transportation Safety Board, the administrative agency that handled the train derailments during Buttigieg’s leadership, heaven help us.
After the Alaska Airlines incident, National Transportation Safety Board Chair Jennifer Homendy told reporters that pilots reported the plane had experienced three pressurization warnings from cockpit dashboard lights, between Dec. 7 and Jan. 4. And at least one occurred in-flight.
In response, the carrier ordered that the plane not make any long flights over water, so it “could return very quickly to the airport” if the warning light came on again, she said.
And, she added, she was glad the defective plug from the door was found in the backyard of a schoolteacher named Bob, since it was a critical part of the investigation.
Pete? He was delighted with how the incident that nearly sucked passengers out the door, was handled.
"I have confidence in any aircraft cleared by the FAA,” Buttigieg told reporters. “The FAA’s doing a great job and (FAA Administrator), Mike Whitaker’s doing a great job.”
If there is something that doesn’t love a wall among Joe Supporters and the people in his administration, there is also something that doesn’t love Excellence.
This lack of love rears its ugly head among people of average intelligence, the types that avoid hard work at all costs, like former Harvard President Gay.
And the people in Joe’s administration. Including Joe.
Any show of Excellence insults their sensibility.
The Leftist Media was outraged that Donald Trump aced it in Iowa.
Rachel Maddow. Jeff Tapper. The Joys, Behar and Reid, all wrung their collective hands at this show of excellence. And the Rightists on FOX weren’t much better.
Excellence had become a dirty word, mediocrity the goal. Lowering standards everywhere have become a Biden Administrative hallmark.
“People with disabilities who can successfully complete the task should never face discrimination,” Dr. Stanley Goldfarb, former associate dean for curriculum at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine said.
“Unfortunately,” he said, identity politics “is creating opportunities for so-called oppressed groups by lowering standards for entry into those fields, and thereby endangering the safety of those which it’s designed to serve.
“The aviation industry has a responsibility for traveler safety, just as the health care industry has a responsibility for patient safety,” he added as chair of Do No Harm, a group of health care professionals working to “protect health care from a radical, divisive and discriminatory ideology.
“These responsibilities outweigh other factors when considering applicants for work in those fields.
Unfortunately, lowering standards is what Joe Biden does best.
He has to lower everyone else’s standards to meet the level of his own.
Hold the line, America.
Stay strong, Patriots.
