"Sometimes when you get in a fight with a skunk, you can't tell who started it." Rep. Lloyd Doggett (D-Texas)

It might be true. Donald Trump may not have used all the arrows in his quiver during The Debate, but at least he had some.
Poor Hillary had nothing else to talk about, no record to point to with pride. All she had was The Donald to kick around. And once the Lester Holt/Hillary Road Show was over, one thing was clear: Trump came out a gentleman, and Hillary didn't.
Hillary was in her glory when she laid into Trump, slyly insinuating what might possibly be in his tax return, and accusing him of his supposed insults to women. You could see it in her face.
It was the face we saw when she systematically destroyed Gennifer Flowers, and "that woman," the White House intern, and defended Bill. Again.
Trump could have done a job on her. But he didn't.
It's what a gentleman would do.
But Hillary is no gentleman. She's a gutter fighter, who fights with an escape clause: That she's female.
She wants to be the first female president, but won't stop crying "sexist," like a girl, when things don't go her way.
It's something Margaret Thatcher, or Golda Meir, or Indira Gandhi wouldn't do, all "Firsts" in leading their countries.
Instead Prime Minister Meir was dubbed "The Iron Lady" of Israeli politics for her skills as a leader, a term later used to describe Prime Minister Thatcher, because of her skills as a leader.
But that's not the way Hillary works. For Hillary it has nothing to do with skill, or doing the job, or The People. She just wants to be first. And because she's a woman, she wants special treatment, or she'll call foul. Don't say Obama never taught her anything.
Before the debate, Hillary was mad that Trump might appear taller than she is when standing at his podium;
She won't tolerate questions about her health, even after she collapses in public, or when her eyes roll uncontrollably in her head;
She gets nasty when people ask her why she, a presidential candidate, hasn't had a press conference for more than eight months;
And she never feels she has to explain anything to anyone, such as who the heck are the people travelling with her: The guy who calms her down when she freezes onstage? That mysterious woman holding her hand, appearing to be taking her vital signs at the 9/11 ceremony? Is she a nurse? And why is she unable to climb steps on her own?
Voters want to know. She might die in office! But Hillary says those questions are sexist, and refuses to answer. Bill's response is to go out and hire lawyers, to make sure she isn't kicked off the Democratic ticket, and to seal her medical records.
Yes, Hillary believes she is entitled, and wants even more.
Before the debate, she asked for Lester Holt to do a Candy Crowley, to be her fact-checker!
And he did.
Why? "I think what's concerning overall about Donald Trump is that he doesn't often tell the truth," Robbie Mook, Lyin' Hillary's campaign manager said.
And the guy actually said it with a straight face.
Mook explained that it should be Holt's job to fact check Trump for lying, during the debate, so that Lyin' Hillary would have more time to "get her message out." I guess thirty years wasn't enough.
But, as Princess Diana famously said, it was uncomfortable with three people in her marriage. It was equally uncomfortable for Trump with three people in the debate.
We all know Hillary. We know what she's done and what she hasn't. "Take from the rich and give to the poor, I love women, I love kids, infrastructure..." We've heard it all before.
That's the problem. We've heard it all before.
We all know Hillary is one angry puppy. And why wouldn't she be? Her husband publicly humiliated her and the whole country. That's got to be tough to take. But, like the Kennedy women, Hillary is used to taking it on the chin.
Yes, Hillary stands there and takes it, but it doesn't mean she isn't angry. She is. So she copes. She aims her anger at anyone who isn't Bill. And she lies.
Denial isn't just a river in Egypt.
Hillary's done it for years, since Bill's 1998 impeachment, and long before that, back in Arkansas.
When in a stressful situation, Hillary seems to defer to a man. She let Obama send her flying all over the world, we're not sure why, except to keep her flying all over the world.
And she has said she wants to put Bill in charge of the economy, because "he's good at it."
During the debate she defensively referenced her husband's presidency as being "pretty good" when Trump criticized NAFTA. Those should be things a President Hillary Clinton should be able to handle on her own, isn't it? But nonetheless, it certainly is interesting.
It is a coping mechanism she has created, but has she gotten so good at it, that it could make her "deny" she deliberately destroyed government documents?
Could it have made her "forget" the procedures for protecting national security?
Has it caused her to lie so much she doesn't even know she's lying?
But most importantly, is this behavior presidential? Does it make her the one whose finger should be on the nuclear button?
Because she is one angry woman.
Hold the line, America.
