"First they came for the Socialists and I did not speak out -- because I was not a Socialist. Then they came for the Trade Unionists and I did not speak out -- because I was not a Trade Unionist. Then they came for the Jews and I did not speak out -- because I was not a Jew. Then they came for me -- and there was no one left to speak for me." - Martin Niemoller, Protestant Pastor and outspoken public foe of Adolph Hitler. The pastor spent the last seven years of Nazi rule in concentration camps.

Great Caesar's Ghost!
The store that once defended Santa Claus and gave you "Miracle on 34th Street," is now engaging in bullying and censorship!
Yikes!
But it's not just Macy's. It's NBC, and Univision, and soon the mayor of NYC will decide whether or not the Big Apple will continue doing business with The Donald.
(We're talking about Mayor DeBlasio. Bet you can guess what he'll do.)
Why are they all cutting economic ties to Donald Trump? It's not about Mexican immigrants. It's because he exercised his right to free speech. That's what this is all about.
If you don't "get it," it means you don't recognize an "Alinsky Community-Organizing Move" when it smacks you in the face.
You know, and I know, and Macy's, NBC, Univision, and DeBlasio darn well know, what Donald Trump was talking about when he talked about Mexicans.
It wasn't that he hated "Our Mexican brothers and sisters who make up an essential part of this city's vibrant community," as a disingenuous DeBlasio chose to say when he called Trump's words "disgusting."
His speech was about illegal immigrants being sent here from Mexico, the operative word being "illegal." That means against the law, something our politicians forget about.
It was about Mexico not sending their best and brightest, not scientists, doctors and engineers, but sending us gang members and their poor, sick and uneducated. It is about Mexico emptying their prisons and sending their criminals to us.
The Donald's liberal critics would have known that if they listened to his speech, if they'd stopped playing politics.
Whoops! Did I say liberal?
Scratch that. Add Republicans who have drunk the Obama Politically Correct Kool-Aid: Republican Establishment-types, like Karl Rove, Jeb (no last name), former New York Gov. George Pataki, Sen. Marco Rubio -- who accused Trump of dividing our nation -- and Sen. John McCain, who has served the state of Arizona for about 100 years and has yet to do anything about his state's and our nation's borders.
With politicians like these, who wants to listen to them much less elect them for anything?
It's a tactic, one favored by Alinsky-ites, Hillary and Obama. Destroy the opponent. And Trump is the opponent. They're scared to death of him.
Blessed as we have been with the Clintons, Barack Obama and their people -- the Grubers, the Sharptons and the Holders -- the country's politicians from both sides of the aisle, have adopted the Gotcha' Version of the Truth. These purveyors of spin, spin away and are never confronted for it the way Donald Trump has been confronted.
We've seen it before. Shame them publicly. Alinsky. Distort their words. Alinsky. Make whoever it is pay through the nose for opposing us. Alinsky.
If the president or Karl Rove, Jeb, Rubio or McCain really wanted to "fix our broken immigration system," they'd consult the experts and then fix it. But they don't. Only a leader would do that.
They'd ask Arizona Sheriff Joe Arpaio, who has compiled stats for who comes and who goes across our borders. No one seems to know that number. Why not ask Joe!
Sheriff Joe would have told them a lot of things about illegal criminals, the ones who keep coming back, like the guy who was deported and returned 26 times to commit more crimes.
Ask the folks on the front lines, our border agents and Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers who are told by their government to stand down when it comes to illegal immigrants.
Ask the states into which Obama's illegal immigrants have been dumped. Ask the hospitals in those states who have to provide medical care for them, the schools that have to educate children who are illiterate in their own language, and the state welfare systems that give 'til it hurts.
And ask Border Agent Javier Vega, Jr.'s family. He is the border agent killed in front of his parents, wife and kids while he was off duty, fishing. The two illegal immigrants who murdered him had been deported numerous times.
That's what Trump is talking about. And Americans agree with him.
It's bad enough we have legislators and a president who don't bother to read the laws they pass. Now we have a media and politicians who don't bother to listen.
On this Fourth of July holiday we can reflect and decide for ourselves, not whether Trump should be president, but whether he should be allowed to exercise his freedom of speech.
He has the right, you know. You do, too. It's in the Bill of Rights. And if we don't back him up on this one, as a nation, we're sunk.
Because it's not just The Donald we're defending. It's ourselves and the principles upon which our country rests. And if we do nothing, then the oft heard adage will come true again, "Then they came for me -- and there was no one left to speak for me.
Donald Trump spoke out. What are you going to do about it?
Happy Fourth of July.
Hold the line, America.
