"The man who is dissatisfied with himself, what can he do?” Henry David Thoreau

You know them when you see them: Miserable, unhappy, incompetent people.

Their decisions are always wrong and their only mission seems to be to make everyone around them as miserable and unhappy as they are.

It’s a bummer if those people are in your own family, or at work. But when they’re your government leaders, there is no limit to the amount of damage they can do in America’s name.

They start the day with a chip on their shoulders, then do whatever they want. The rules for them are that "there are no rules.”

Unfortunately after they do what they want, we end up with what we don’t want and looking like fools to the world.

The former secretary of state and the soon-to-be former attorney general for instance. At the end of their careers, what did they leave as a legacy?

Hillary Clinton had too many miles on her odometer and nothing much to remember her by except her strident statement on Benghazi, "What difference does it make?”

          And Eric Holder?

In his exit interview, he gave us a summer reading list.

"Read Malcolm X, kiddies,” he said, then aired his plan to lower the standard of proof for federal civil rights crimes, to "unlevel" the federal playing field.

Then there’s our new secretary of state.

"We’re safe, we’re fine,” John Kerry says, flying in the face of the facts again. In fact, he says, we’re safer and "finer” than ever before in history, while

Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, a guy who should know, says "Uh, uh.”

These are our leaders. Then consider Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

How has Obama treated this man? Not the way we wanted.

The White House, 55 Democratic Congressmen, the vice president and the ambassador to Israel have decided they aren’t going to attend his address to a Joint Session of Congress.

They’ve decided they don’t want to hear this world leader speak. And they’ve decided to boycott the event.

          Is that what you wanted?

Ninety-three percent of Americans said they didn’t.

They wanted to show respect to a man who served with distinction in the Israeli Defense elite forces and as a distinguished, brave political leader.

Maybe that’s what the Democrats and Obama are afraid of.

Americans want to hear the prime minister’s comments on Iran because they, like Netanyahu, believe Iran is an enemy of the United States, despite what the president and Valerie Jarrett want us to think.

Who better to give us the facts about Iran than Netanyahu, the man who stands between his country and Iran, between his country and one that wants to wipe Israel and Jews off the map?

Why would any leader worth his salt want to disregard advice from an ally?

The answer to that is in the question. The only transparent message to emerge from this administration is a clear anti-Israel, pro-Islam one.

And the American people do not get what they want one more time.

Netanyahu has been repeatedly and childishly snubbed by this president and his cohorts, much to our embarrassment.

But that should not surprise us.

From the president’s self-declared amnesty of millions of illegal immigrants, to his flagrant and unconstitutional use of executive orders, he and his administration have shown they have no regard for the will of the people, for our Constitution and for the rule of law.

Now, on the eve of Netanyahu’s address before a Joint Session of Congress, "they” have decided that "they” want to silence and embarrass him.

Once again, it is not what we wanted.

They’ve pulled out "The Party Parrots,” National Security Advisor Susan Rice, Ambassador to the United Nations Samantha Powers and Secretary of State

John Kerry to speak the party line of an "unbroken bond” with Israel, while refusing to greet an esteemed ally when he comes to our home to visit.

British Prime Minister Winston Churchill addressed the same body 75 years ago, after the bombing of Pearl Harbor. His was a lone voice among world leaders at a time of great world turmoil, as Netanyahu’s voice is today.

On Tuesday, March 3, the Israeli prime minister will speak to Congress about the threat posed to world peace in the event that Iran is allowed to produce a nuclear weapon. Americans want to hear his message.

Our elected officials shouldn't have to be forced to listen.

What clear-thinking American, what responsible leader would not want to hear the prime minister’s report from the front lines?

But why ask. We know why. There is no love lost between Obama and Netanyahu. Between Obama and Israel. Just lip service. We know where the president stands in regard to Israel and the Jewish people.

This is not the first time the president has ignored advice that contradicts his own, when he has acted purely on his own behalf. Pick a topic. And he's not through yet.

And it is not the first time the Democrats have abandoned their responsibilities by running away from the issues.

Democrats in Wisconsin ran away across state lines to avoid voting on Gov. Scott Walker’s budget bill.

Democrats in Congress abandoned their jobs and walked out of Congress to avoid a vote to hold Eric Holder in contempt. 149 of them. They refused to vote, holding hands like children in a show of defiance.

And of course The Party Parrots came out of the woodwork to attack Netanyahu’s credibility well in advance of his address. How ridiculous.

Does it make you ashamed of all of them?

So what do you think? What would Obama do if he had the power to approve or disapprove Winston Churchill addressing the U.S. Congress back in 1941?

Well, I’ll give you a hint.

As soon as Obama stepped into the Oval Office, he promptly removed the bust of Winston Churchill and sent it packing, back to England.

It had to do with colonialism and England isn’t the only nation who should make reparations for those sins, in Obama’s estimation. America's in there, too.

          Read his Cairo speech.

In Obama's view, the United States has a lot of mea culpas to deliver and should not be allowed to interfere with another nation’s right to have nuclear weapons.

So, at this time in our history, I ask you. If you had to choose a leader in whom to place your trust, someone to protect this country, would you choose John Kerry? Would Hillary Clinton answer the phone at 3 a.m.? How does Barack Obama measure up?

Or would you choose Benjamin Netanyahu?

          Hold the line, America.
