It is hard. And Barack Obama can’t.

It is hard. And Barack Obama can’t.
This week it was reported that mums and dads in England and Wales are choosing "Muhammad” as their favorite name for junior. It’s the favorite in Oslo, too.
That’s a sobering thought. You think radical Islam is on the move?Everybody thinks so.
No, not our president, but everybody else.
If the beheading of American journalist James Foley by ISIS wasn’t proof enough, this week London Imam Anjem Choudary confidently told FOX News that Sharia law will definitely be imposed on the world.
"You will have no choice,” Choudary said, smiling. "It’s coming to a place near you.”
England’s Prime Minister David Cameron got the message.
He upped the threat level in Britain to the second highest, "Severe,” which means a terrorist attack is "highly likely.”
He announced that new laws will be passed in Britain to make it easier to remove extremists’ passports if there are concerns they would travel to the Middle East to join ISIS.
He’s assigning more police to patrol the streets to counter threats from fanatics returning from Iraq and Syria.
And he said in words the press understood that an urgent response to the ISIS crisis is needed.
"What we’re facing in Iraq with ISIS now is a greater and deeper threat to our security than we have known before,” Cameron said from 10 Downing Street .
"Terrorism is now the most important issue facing this country today.”
"We cannot appease this ideology. We have to confront it at home and abroad. To do this, we need a tough, intelligent, patient and comprehensive approach to defeat the terrorist threat at its source.”
Cameron has a plan.
Obama doesn’t.
It’s hard to believe the president isn’t aware of the history of the Ottoman Empire given his penchant for Islam.
The Ottoman Empire was one of the largest and longest lasting in history, inspired and sustained by Islam and Islamic institutions, and indeed, it spread like a cancer.
Maybe he missed that class.
But I can’t believe he didn’t hear about the Kennedy/Nixon Presidential Debates. After all, Jack was a Democrat!
Not only was it the first televised event of this kind, but afterwards critics credited Kennedy’s victory to his suit.
Kennedy wore a dark one, Nixon wore gray. They called it "image” in those days, not "optics,” but Kennedy won because he looked stronger.
Maybe Obama missed that class, too.
This week he wore a beige suit that was reminiscent of Sydney Greenstreet in Casablanca or a South American dictator.
He couldn’t have looked weaker if he tried.
Actually he did manage to look weaker, when he told Americans and the world that he didn’t "have a strategy yet” to defeat ISIS and something about carts and horses.
As Breitbart’s Ben Shapiro said, "What the hell does this guy do for a living?”
I don’t know.
I do know the White House had to devote days after his speech to explain what Obama’s "no plan” remarks meant, because the White House said the press misunderstood his words!
Everyone knew it wasn’t the press’ fault. Just like they knew it wasn’t the Pentagon’s fault, even though Obama said it was. Everyone knew the Pentagon always had a plan.
We know what the response was to Cameron’s speech, but what happened after Obama’s speech?
Well, ISIS marched 250 Syrian soldiers into the desert and executed them.
Convicted Muslim Fort Hood terrorist Nidal Hasan wrote ISIS and requested to be made a citizen of the caliphate.
The Department of Justice filed a lawsuit against a small town in Minnesota for denying an application for a mosque to be located in a business center.
The president and Secretary of State Kerry strongly reiterated that their war on global warming is still one of the most important dangers facing America today.
And before leaving for a weekend fundraiser and to attend a wedding, Obama sent Kerry flying off to tell the Iraq government that it has to get its act together, be stronger, and to bring Obama’s message, "The idea that the U.S. or any outside power would perpetually defeat ISIS is unrealistic.”
It’s the kind of stuff ISIS loves about the Obama administration.
So you’ve had seven years. You’ve seen Prime Minister Cameron, and President Putin. How does Obama measure up as a leader?
My gut tells me "leading” was the last thing on his mind when he applied for the job.
He’s a community agitator. He’s not a guy’s guy. He won’t jump in and help someone out in a fist fight.
He’s no John Adams. He wouldn’t have defended British soldiers involved in the Boston Massacre because it was the "right thing to do.”
And if you’re waiting for him to do the right thing for America, you’ve got a long wait. Community organizing, sorry to say, doesn’t prepare you to be a leader.
So forget about securing borders and prosecuting Obama’s scandals and tapping our own country’s energy supply. None of that’s going to happen on his watch.
But, at this point, it isn’t about Obama not having what it takes to lead, or make decisions or being capable of throwing out the first ball of the season.
It’s about the fire in his belly and how he doesn’t have it for America. It’s about his reluctance to move against Muslims of any stripe.
But don’t let him rob you of your good sense. Trust your intuition and verify.
Read his Cairo Speech (it’s in this Blog at FYI), then read his book.
Read the passage in "Audacity of Hope” that says he will stand with the Muslims. It’s on page 261 of the paperback.
"They (Arab and Pakistani Americans) have been reminded that the history of immigration in this country has a dark underbelly; they need specific reassurances that their citizenship really means something, that America has learned the right lessons from the Japanese internments during World War II, and that I will stand with the Muslims should the political winds shift in an ugly direction.”
If that makes you mad, if it sounds like he’s mad at the U.S., if he appears weak, trust your intuition, the old "If it walks like a duck” thing.
So, sorry "Girls,” of the media and of the left. If you fell in love with him because he was "all that,” it turns out he isn’t. He’s got the gift of the gab, but that’s about all he’s got. And it shows.
And as our former Secretary of State Hill said, "The American people are tired of liars and people who pretend to be something they’re not.”
And she should know.
All I know is "one of the prettiest sounds on earth at sunset is the Muslim call to prayer,” especially, now, right before 9/11/14.
Don’t you agree?
Hold the line, America.
