They Came to Bury Trump

          It's Wednesday, and the McCain funeral is just winding down. And while it was going on, it was hard to tell if it was a funeral, or a Democrat political rally.

          Sure. It would be easy to be critical of the whole thing, but that wouldn't be right. Besides too many people have already done that.

          It's important to note that no one doubts John McCain's bravery. Or that he was a hero.

          And no one denies that the family has the right to grieve. In any way they choose.

          It was clear by watching his daughter, Meghan, deliver the eulogy on Saturday at Washington National Cathedral, that she is devastated by the loss of her father.

          It was what she did next. And where she did it. And that her mother allowed her to do it.

          When she took aim at President Trump while eulogizing her father, it did nothing for our nation, or her father.

          "We gather here to mourn the passing of American greatness, the real thing, not cheap rhetoric from men who will never come near the sacrifice he gave so willingly," she said, sobbing.

          "The America of John McCain has no need to be made great again," she said, "because America was always great.

           There was no reason for her to do that. Her father had already banned Trump from his funeral.

           It was as if, along with everything else for which Trump is blamed, John McCain's demise was his fault, too. And Aretha Franklin's death.

           But one thing Meghan McCain and the former presidents who delivered eulogies forgot, was that We Were There:

           When Sen. McCain didn't think America was great;

           When the Mainstream Media loved him because he worked against his own Party, then didn't love him when he ran for president;

          When Obama, Bush and Clinton didn't like him, either;

          So we're not buying it when George Bush said McCain "made him better," or when Obama praised the man he once cut off at a meeting, right after the 2008 election, saying, "John, I won. You didn't."

          Good times. Good times.

          There was the hero, and then there was the politician. And McCain wasn't a great senator.

           He served more than 30 years in Congress, and did nothing to protect Arizona's borders, not even after a rancher was killed. In his state;

          He consistently campaigned that he would vote to overturn Obamacare, but when it came time to vote to do it. He didn't;

          He despised Donald Trump so vehemently that he sent an emissary to bring back the phony Russian dossier, then turned it over to the FBI.

          After he lost the election, he ridiculed his 2008 running mate, Sarah Palin, on late-night TV, and recently said in his book "The Restless Wave," that he regretted choosing her as his vice president.

          Luckily, he and his family were able to remedy that mistake by excluding the former Alaskan governor from his funeral. Little did they realize that those who voted in the election, by and large, voted his ticket because of Sarah Palin, not because of John McCain.

          But who would talk about such things at a funeral? About a hero. Who would politicize such a moment?

          It would be a chancy thing to do, given the fact that Meghan McCain made her remarks in a Sanctuary. A church. What sort of cad would bring up politics, and criticize her? After she lost her father.

          It would be Politically Incorrect.

           But as long as she was politicizing the event, she should have asked the Globalist "Hear No Evil," "See No Evil," and "Speak No Evils," presidents sitting in the front row, why they never speak out about the scandals Trump is mopping up in the Intelligence Community, the one he inherited from them, along with their Deep Staters.

          But that would be "Monkeying Around," and calling them out for what they are. And that wouldn't be right.

          Not during a funeral.

          Hold the line, America.
          Where We Go One, We Go All
