See hypodermic needles in the gutter, human feces in the streets, and there's bound to be a Democrat in charge of the place.
Pick up a magazine and notice who isn't on the cover, namely First Lady Melania Trump, and there's bound to be a Liberal around somewhere.
There's more than one way to skin a cat. And the Liberals have tried every one of them. On Donald Trump.
Now they're taking on the First Lady.
But it's hard to be critical of Liberals for the things that they do. After all, they're against bad things. That's what they say.
They don't like bullying. Or acting prejudiced toward others. They don't like it, and they don't do it. That's what they say.
So if you did wonder why the First Lady has never appeared on any magazine covers, while Michelle Ma Belle has graced more than 30, every publication from Good Housekeeping to Vogue, don't you dare start to think that it's anything political.
There are reasons, real reasons, why FOTUS has been shunned, and TV Cheat Sheet tells us what they are.
From what we're told, apparently the woman has no fashion sense, because no matter how stunning her fashion choices are, they are largely ignored by the Fashion Muckity-Mucks. Unlike Hillary Clinton, whom The Washington Post declared a "Fashion Style Setter," and over whom In Style magazine waxed poetic in an article, "Why Hillary Is My Fashion Icon."
It's her pantsuits.
"She's my Chanel, my New York Fashion Week, my WWD, my Dolly Parton in a coat of many colors," writer Deb Rox gushed. But back to TV Cheat Sheet, because there are even more reasons why the First Lady isn't worthy of Liberal praise, but is a fine candidate for their disdain.
She doesn't have an "Initiative, like Michelle Obama did," who, you recall, did a dandy job in choosing the food in school lunch programs;
Magazines are "gun-shy" of appearing to promote her husband's "Sexism and Racism;"
She's not "really happy to be the First Lady;"
And because, even though she had expressed her desire to combat cyberbullying, "she hasn't made any strides towards it;"
The magazine concluded that Mrs. Trump really has nothing to offer anyone, and that "we're not really sure what she would even discuss in an interview for a magazine."
How can you argue with facts like these?
Okay. You might say that she was an excellent ambassador for our country while accompanying her husband on state visits around the world, from Saudi Arabia to the Great Wall of China, performing her duties with style and grace.
And it's true, she did an admirable job of planning a state dinner for French President Macron and his wife, on her own, without a professional planner. Saved a few pennies there.
From what I could see, the children to whom she read, seemed to like it, even if Jimmy Kimmel didn't. And the children she invited into the White House to make Christmas decorations, all seemed to like her, one child happily crowing, "She's so beautiful. Like an angel."
She appears to be a good and attentive mother, waiting until Barron finished his school year before moving the family to D.C. And, lastly, she doesn't need her mother to live in the White House to help her take care of her son. Saved another couple of pennies.
When you think of it, she may very well be the embodiment of The American Dream!
She was born to middle class parents, in Slovenia, and rose from a young model to First Lady of the United States. And she speaks five languages, which Jimmy Kimmel doesn't.
But none of that matters, because, we are told, mostly by omission, that she has nothing worth sharing with American readers.
Of course, again we are told, none of this has to do with political bias or any sort of "bullying."
Vanity Fair's Kenzie Bryant, whoever she is, reviewed the First Lady's preparation for Christmas this way:
"This holiday season, Melania Trump stars in what is either the official unveiling of White House decorations, or a seasonal advertisement for J. Crew.
"The video that the First Lady tweeted...shows her overseeing wreath developments, confirming that the lights are lights, marking some markings, all while wearing festive chunky knits and a couple of over-the-shoulder jackets..." adding, the White House expects that "more than 25,000 visitors will walk the halls taking part in public tours." That's so many! Bullying initiatives will have to wait until the new year."
But don't go assuming this is political animus. Liberals don't do that sort of thing.
Take Anna Wintour, for instance. The Vogue editor-in-chief has certainly happily stumped for President Obama, fundraising during fashion weeks in London and Paris, hosting a private DNC fundraiser in her home in Greenwich Village, and even passing up Gucci's Milan Show for an Obama London fundraiser.
But she never let her political views affect her job as editor-in-chief. In fact, when asked, Wintour said Mrs. Trump would "probably be featured in Vogue, since other First Ladies had."
But she never was.
Now don't go thinking that this is bullying. Or payback. Or because Liberals hate Donald Trump. You know and I know Liberals are dead set against that sort of thing.
At least, that's what they say.
Hold the line, America.
