Who says crime doesn't pay?
Lois Lerner used her position at the IRS to target conservatives, and now is sitting, fat and sassy with a $100,000 pension, and lots of cash from her bonuses tucked under her belt.
Bill Clinton was impeached, but as a former president, pulls down more than $203,000 a year, plus thousands of dollars for miscellaneous expenses, including Secret Service protection. That's protection. With guns.
Neither of these public servants has ever apologized for breaking the law. And Hillary hasn't either.
This week she said she was apologizing. It was for what she said in her "Why I Didn't Win" speech in Mumbai, India.
Speaking to the Muslim, Indian audience, Hillary basically said that if white, American women voted for Trump, the men in their lives told them to vote that way.
It is Hillary's contention that these women, should have voted for her, because she is a woman, and they are women, and women should vote for a woman.
Now, some might say that is the flip side of the same coin, implying that white, American women are stupid.
But why quibble? The point is, no matter what happens, no matter what she does, or what she says, Hillary thinks she is always a victim.
She was sorry, she said, if people "misinterpreted" her words. If people were "upset," by them. She stood solidly by what she said.
That was her rendition of an apology.
But don't judge Hillary too harshly. The woman honestly believes she has nothing to apologize for. Not ever.
Not for the four dead Americans in Benghazi. After all, what difference did that make?
Not for the 30,000 confidential, State Department e-mails she sent to Anthony Weiner's laptop, the one he used to romance underage girls online.
So how can we be surprised when former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe kicks up a fuss when he's shown the door?
When he says, "Hey! I did my job as bad as Bill, Lois and Hillary did! Why am I being fired without my pension?"
"Sure. I lied under oath, but so did Bill Clinton. And Eric Holder. About selling guns to Mexican cartels! So why are they picking on me?"
Those Deep State guys? They're so funny. But who can blame them. They, better than anyone, know that the law is more equal for some than for others.
The law is equal when it comes to Hillary, but not so equal for former Trump Security Advisor Mike Flynn.
So it probably came as a surprise to Deep Staters when their chickens came home to roost. When McCabe got fired for lying under oath. That's an FBI Zero-Tolerance offense, and he knew it, but did it anyway. But he was not dismissed by Donald Trump. His firing arose out of the Office of Inspector General's probe into how the FBI handled the Clinton e-mail investigation, and was based on the report of Obama-appointee, Inspector General Michael Horowitz.
Not Donald Trump.
The recommendation for dismissal came to Attorney General Jeff Sessions' desk from the FBI's own Office of Professional Responsibility, Assistant Director Candice Will, who has been in that position since her appointment in 2004 by then-Director Robert Mueller.
Not from Donald Trump.
But McCabe and the mainstream media still blamed him, ignoring what McCabe did, choosing to make McCabe into a victim. Like Hillary.
McCabe is a small part of the cabal that has protected Hillary and her road to the White House. McCabe kept the Weiner-Clinton-Abedin-Laptop scandal under wraps for three weeks, until before the 2016 election, even though confidential government e-mails were involved. And he and others in the FBI, handled the Hillary e-mail/private server scandal in a way that left the former secretary of state blameless.
The Left was outraged at the timing of McCabe's dismissal, and made much of the fact he would lose his pension.
"Poor guy. They're taking his pension!" the Left protested. But they're wrong. Sources say he will receive it at age 57. But they are right. Over McCabe's lifetime, his pension isn't all that much. Just a little more than what Mike Flynn had to sell his house in Virginia for, to pay his legal bills.
For lying to the FBI.
For years, during the Obama Administration, the players in the FBI could easily have had their mug shots on the FBI's Most Wanted posters, the ones you see hanging in your local post office, especially for their subversive, anti-Trump activities before and after the election. They were that corrupt.
But, as we know, up until now, the law has been a little more equal for them and not so much for others. Up until now.
Hold the line, America.
