"Here's a tough thing to talk about, though we must. Rich people are gonna' have to allow, or be forced to allow, lower income people to live near them." Beto O'Rourke, Sept. 8, 2019

Moxie.
You've either got it, or you don't.
The folks who fought the American Revolution had it. They knew a thing or two, because they'd seen a thing or two.
And they took it from there.
They knew what they didn't want, so they wrote it down, in a Constitution. And a Bill of Rights.
"Never again," they said in their Declaration of Independence.
Never to be subservient to any man. Or government. Never to be persecuted for one's thoughts. One's religion.
Never to be denied the right to protect their homes. To speak without fear of retribution.
They didn't enter into the fight lightly. They knew their necks were on the line.
And they did it anyway.
Risking life and limb.
And over time, after defeating the "invincible" British army, they stamped out slavery, gave the women the right to vote.
And over tiime, with a Constitution second to none, people of all stripes were given rights they didn't have before.
It didn't happen overnight, but it did happen. And it didn't happen anywhere else in the world.
Just in America.
America had enemies and September 11th is a good example. But there were others. The fight to preserve the America our forefathers created is never over.
Today the trial of the "Mastermind of 9/11," Khalid Sheikh Mohammed was announced. It will be in 2021, dragging on for years because the Obama administration overturned his original confession, according to Dr. James Mitchell from his experience in interrogating the terrorist.
"He struck me as a monster," Dr. Mitchell told Fox and Friends today.
'He is a person who believes that Western democracy, democratic republics, cannot exist with Sharia law," he added.
"He said that, what they wanted was to target the minds of the American people, so we would be afraid to oppose the spread of Sharia."
If you're looking for Moxie today, you won't find it at the Democrat debate tomorrow night.
If you think you will find a Democrat who remembers what it means to fight for the right to be an American, you won't find that either.
What you will find are Socialist/Democrats who work with the media to target the minds of the American people.
Sharia law promoter and anti-Semitic Linda Sarsour now is a supporter of Sen. Bernie Sanders, who, in turn, supports "controlling" the world's population and spending $16 trillion dollars on climate control.
Former prosecutor Sen. Kamala Harris agrees to ban everything, from plastic straws and red meat, to fracking and ignoring most of our laws.
Julian Castro and his twin brother think using Below-the-Belt doxing against Trump supporters in Texas was just politics as usual.
And none of them address or are asked about illegal immigration, the "soft coup" scandal that took place in the FBI and DOJ during the Obama administration, or the homelessness problem that has devastated Democrat-run American cities.
To all of these Left of Left candidates, America is the enemy.
In the 18 years since 9/11, what has happened? Typical of our country and its values, Muslim women were elected to the U.S. Congress, something that would never happen in Islamic countries practicing Sharia.
And what did those women do?
Rep. Ilhan Omar, a refugee from Somalia, missed the point of being an American.
At a banquet for the Council on American-Islamic Relations, she told the audience that 9/11 gave rise to Islamophobia.
"CAIR was founded after 9/11 because they recognized that some people did something, and that all of us were starting to lose access to our civil liberties," she said dismissively.
Today a man who lost his mother on 9/11 told "the Squad," who did what to whom.
"On that day, 19 Islamic terrorists, members of Al Qaeda, killed over 3,000 people and caused billions of dollars of economic damage. Is that clear," Nicholas Haros, Jr. said at a 9/11 ceremony, wearing a shirt with "Some People Did Something" on it.
"Our Constitutional freedoms were attacked, and our nation's founding on Judeo-Christian principles were attacked.
"We are here today, Congresswoman, to tell you and the 'Squad' just who did what to whom. Show respect in honoring them, please.
In the coming days, when we review the candidates running for the highest office in our land, it would be well to remember 9/11. And the Revolutionary War.
And before pulling the handle to cast your vote, to remember to say "Never Again."
Hold the line, America.
