"I couldn't be silent when our Prime Minister wouldn't say boo to a goose." London Mayor Sadiq Kahn, On his Op Ed about President Trump

It's a case of mistaken identity.
The press thought Trump wasn't good at meeting with foreign dignitaries, because he wasn't bowing to them, or giving the Queen an iPod filled with his speeches.
Like Obama.
And they thought William Barr wasn't so good at being attorney general because he wasn't running guns into Mexico.
Like Eric Holder.
It's all fake news. And so, this week the two men were attacked because they were doing their jobs. And Liberals weren't pleased.
Yesterday the House passed a Civil Contempt Resolution against the attorney general and other administration officials, for failing to comply with Congressional subpoenas.
They said it was because they were being "stonewalled," and prevented from performing their Congressional oversight.
The fact is these guys don't know the meaning of the word "stonewalled" until they have tried to get documents about Hillary from the FBI.
The real reason the House passed the resolution was because Special Counsel Robert Mueller didn't deliver.
Impeachment Seeking Democrats thought the Mueller Report was going to provide them a slam dunk to Trump's impeachment.
But it didn't.
And when it didn't, House Judiciary Committee Chair Jerry Nadler (D-NY) began calling for Barr's head, along with Trump's. And probably Mueller's. And Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) continued his claim that he had the "goods" on Trump. Again.
The attacks from the Left never end.
This week the Liberal media took turns taking pot shots at the president while he was in the UK to commemorate the 75th Anniversary of D-Day, fanning the fires of the anti-Trump protests there.
London Mayor Sadiq Khan penned an Op Ed in the Observer in advance of Trump's trip, making it clear the president was not welcome in his city.
"It's so un-British to be rolling out the red carpet this week for a formal state visit for a president whose divisive behavior flies in the face of the ideals America was founded upon, equality, liberty and religious freedom," Khan wrote.
"In years to come, I suspect this state visit will be one we look back on with profound regret and acknowledge that we were on the wrong side of history."
"I don't think much of him," Trump told reporters. "I think he's the twin of de Blasio except shorter."
Classic Trump.
Jeremy Corbyn, the anti-Semitic leader of the opposition Labour Party joined the anti-Trump protestors, the Baby Trump Balloon flying high.
There are leaders, and then there are leaders. The good ones take it on the chin and can take a joke.
Speaker Nancy Pelosi recently said, tongue in cheek, that there was a little jail under the Capitol Building, adding, "If we were arresting all of the people in administration, we would have an overcrowded jail situation."
When AG Barr ran into Pelosi at the National Peace Officers Memorial Day event, he asked her jokingly if she brought her handcuffs with her.
That's funny. Also classy.
So was Trump when he was nonplussed about the Baby Trump Balloon. If it had been China President Xi Jinping, it would have been a different story.
Xi would have banned the Adorable Trump Balloon, the way he banned the movie "Christopher Robin," because the Chinese people were comparing him to the chubby Winnie the Poo character.
That the American media chose to focus on the Trump protests in the streets of London, was unfortunate.
And fake news.
The British press reported on the warmth of President Trump's relationship with Queen Elizabeth, capturing photos of the 93-year-old Queen beaming and happy in Trump's presence.
Kahn and Corbyn chose to boycott the Buckingham Palace State Banquet, held in honor of the president, and only managed to elicit a tsk-tsk for it.
People felt it was not President Trump the British politicians ended up disrespecting, but the American presidency and the United State's strong ties to its ally, England.
It was thought the boycott was inappropriate, because U.S. entry into World War II was a major factor in saving England and Western Europe from Nazi Germany's control.
It was thought that the United States was definitely on the right side of history.
It's easy to see from how they handle themselves that Trump and Barr are New Yorkers.
Not because of their accents, but because they have a sense of humor.
It's what helps them survive the bad times. Some may not understand it, being a New Yorker, but it's what makes them the winners they are, every time.
Hold the line, America.
