We are getting our "house" cleaned for free, by a man who is here legally. Nonetheless, the Left and some conservatives, are unhappy. Take Rep. Pramila Jayapal (D-Wash.) She's opposed to President Trump's deportation policy. And she does it like a typical elitist.
"If you look at the food that's on your table, think about who picked it. If you look at your homes, think about who built them. If you look at your vulnerable elders and your kids, think about who's taking care of them," Jayapal told the crowd at the Congressional Progressive Caucus' Tax the Greedy Billionaires Press Conference. (!?!)
It is the same ol' point of view other Leftists have had, like Nancy Pelosi, defending illegal immigrants for the "important jobs they have that add to our nation's economy." And the same thing Jayapal said in 2023, that illegal immigrants are needed to "clean our houses."
Rep. Nancy Mace had a different take on the whole thing. She called Jayapal's opposition to deportation as Jayapal "gushing over cheap labor and glorifying indentured servitude."
Yup. Just like an elitist.
