I think I liked Gov. Ron DeSantis better when he was a man of a few words. He made bold decisions, but was reserved. He seemed so wise and dignified.

There's no question he's done a good job as governor, but when he chose to comment on the possible indictment of former President Trump, Ron missed the boat.

"I don't know what goes into hush money to a porn star to secure silence over some type of alleged affair," DeSantis said when asked his opinion about a possible Trump arrest by District Attorney Alvin Bragg.

He didn't have to say that.

And he added that he had important work to continue in his state. Funny, because we thought when he took off the pounds, he was grooming himself to be the next president. Of the country. The whole country.

And that what is happening to Donald Trump affects the very fiber of our country, the Constitution and the Rule of Law. 

I could be wrong, but it looks like the governor needs a little time to age before he can be a Fine Wine like The Donald.
