Obama can never resist inserting himself into the narrative. And airing his old grudges. Back on the campaign trail these past weeks, he dredged up an old grudge.

Stumping for Wisconsin Senate candidate Mandela Barnes, Obama said Barnes was being criticized politically, “just because Mandela’s named Mandela…It sounds pretty familiar, doesn’t it? So, Mandela. Get ready to dig up that birth certificate.”

What he knows and what we know is that Mandela Barnes has plenty to be criticized without bringing his first name into it.

And isn't it interesting it still bothers Obama that people said he wasn't born here. I wonder why?
