There's Them and there's Us.
The Thems don't live in a real world, where people know you need fossil fuel to make electricity so your electric car can reboot. And where milk costs $5 dollars a gallon.
The Thems, like unfunny Stephen Colbert don't know that in the real world, high gas prices can make the difference between making or breaking a family's budget.
"Today, the average gas price in America hit an all-time record high of over $4 per gallon. Okay, that stings, but a clear conscience is worth a buck or two, Colbert said. "I'm willing to pay. I'm willing to pay $4 a gallon. Hell, I'll pay $15 a gallon because I drive a Tesla!" Chuckle, snort.
First, manners. Second, "clear conscience?" For what? Joe's make believe war? The lie he and the media are telling, that the war was the reason gas prices went up?
Colbert's net worth is $75 million. He's paid $15 million a year. A new, bottom of the line Tesla could run you $60,000, and home charge stations and kilowatt hours don't come cheap.
But Colbert doesn't give a damn. Neither does Joe. They live in Their Elitist Them World, while we're told to shut up and take it on the chin.
As Bugs Bunny would say about Colbert, "What a Maroon."
Hang tough.
