FDR's Fireside Chats were the way through for Americans during the Depression.
He advised against Fear. He offered Hope in a Hopeless time.
He was the president of all Americans.
Today we have a strong leader once again, but partisanship has relegated him to the sidelines, deprived of the praise he should receive.
Yesterday, the president made the manufacture and retail sale of guns and ammunition a federal essential industry.
He knows that these frightening times can eat away at the Constitutional rights of Americans, in the name of "protecting" them.
Hang tough.
