What happened to Drew Barrymore? I really used to like her. But now if she's not kneeling in front of Dylan Mulvaney, sharing her own fears and insecurities with the trans-teen-woman and the TV-viewing public, she's telling Kamala Harris that she loves her laugh.
Drew's the only one in America that loves Kamala's inappropriately-timed chortles. But maybe that's not exclusively true. There's the rest of Hollywood, like Michael Douglas, whom I also liked. But after he went on record to support Joe's mental faculties, I'm not so sure about him anymore.
At the Cannes Film Festival in 2023, Douglas defended Biden's age, saying he's "sharp as a tack," and that everyone he's consulted with say Joe is "fine." Too bad he didn't ask people who weren't in the Democrat party, or in Hollywood.
It isn't Joe's age that's the problem. It's that he has dementia, and his family should care enough about him and the country to admit it. But they don't.
Unfortunately Douglas no doubt supported his father, Kirk Douglas, after his stroke, when the elder Douglas made two more movies. The ones he shouldn't have. So maybe Michael doesn't know when it's time for a guy to call it a day.
Hang tough.
