What does courage look like? Well, it's not Teddy Kennedy. Or Joe Biden.
And it's not Trump lawyers who can't take the heat, Jenna Ellis and Sydney Powell.
I know. People say these two would have been fiancially destroyed by Georgia prosecutors. That they'd lose their law licenses.
But Rudy would not surrender. They destroyed him financially and took away his law license. What's the difference? Courage.
While Trump stands strong, both women agreed to write letters of apology, and to testify against their co-defendants as part of their plea agreements.
Both caved to Fulton County Georgia D.A. Fani Willis. A not-too-bright, Trump-hating lawyer. How do Powell and Ellis feel about taking a dive for someone like Willis?
Ellis said, tearfully, "In the frenetic pace of attempting to raise challenges to the election in several states, including Georgia, I failed to do my due diligence," adding, "If I knew then what I know now," she would not have represented Trump.
People who donated to her defense fund want their money back.
As for Powell, the AP loved her legal fall from grace, writing it was "a remarkable about-face for a lawyer who, perhaps more than anyone else, strenuously pushed baseless conspiracy theories about a stolen election. in the face of extensive evidence to the contrary."
Sydney knows that isn't true, but she didn't have the courage to defend it.
Hang tough.
