Some big dogs think they're little. And some homely women think they're pretty.

Chris Christie and Mike Pence think they can be president.

There's something about the air around D.C. that makes the politicians there think they're pretty special, especially to voters.

Christie lost that special feeling with the voting public when he threw his closest colleagues under the bus during BridgeGate, and they ended up in jail. 

And later, during the campaign, when he bailed on Trump after Extra host Billy Bush released a taped conversation with Trump about women which could sink Donald Trump's campaign. Christie turned tail and ran.

Pence blew it when he wasn't loyal on January 6. You know the details.

Things like that are hard to forget.
