This past weekend "Bob-the-Builder-Buttigieg” hit a new, but predictable low.
The mealy-mouthed Mayor Pete turned to a kindred spirit, Hillary Clinton, for advice on how to handle the mean people that were wrongly criticizing him for his bad job performance.
The twosome traded words of mutual admiration at the Clinton Global Initiative University's annual meeting at Vanderbilt University in Nashville. And, predictably, it was sickening.
Hillary called Buttigieg a "trailblazer" for coming out about being gay while in the military. Buttigieg fawned in return.
"I'm humbled to have a word like 'trailblazer' used when I'm sitting next to you, and knowing all the cracks you put in that glass ceiling," Mayor Pete said.
And he wasn't even embarrassed. Go figure.
